Hues and Roots

Creativity and artistic expression are two facets of the human condition that have fortunately found me in this lifetime at an early age. In my worldview, the colorfulness of my entity was matched equally—and nearly rivaled—by the vastness of the surrounding world. The Arts act as a mode of living for many human beings, capturing the essence of what it means to be alive…and, more importantly, what it means to be alive as a person. This is a complicated world, and we are a complicated collection of creatures. In the name of storytelling, I take visual and literary art as functional yet exceptional tools to revisit memories of the mundane and begin an exploration of the esoteric—all through a naturalistic lens.
